I went to my first tweetup of the year, and I must say, I chose a great one! The presentation by Joyful Heart Foundation to introduce their One Strong Ohana campaign was short and informative. Perfect for a tweetup where tweeps just want to eat, drink, and talk story. I got to meet some new tweeps IRL and reconnect with old tweeps I haven't seen in awhile. I even got to meet the person behind the @WFMkahala account. She was totally cool, down to Earth, and just a really nice person to talk to. She even gave me the best news so far in the year! (I won't share it on here so if you want to know DM me on Twitter. LoL)

I was kinda hesitant to publicise my goals and resolutions, but I've come to the understanding that putting it out there in the world will hopefully keep me more accountable to the goals and resolutions that I've set. Here goes...

1) Ph.D in Education
2) Travel w/ Mom
3) Golf w/ Dad
4) Dinner w/ Brother and Sister-in-Law
5) Valuable Friendships
6) 家計簿をつけること
7) Improve my Japanese & Korean
8) Excellent Cook / Baker
9) Entertain & Inform through Videos
10) Healthy, Happy, & Safe

I've written these down in my planner, and hopefully I will look at it daily to see whether I'm on track or not. Aside from those ...

1) Be Tidy
2) Sleep Early & Wake up Early

I've also told myself that I will not buy cookies, chips, chocolate, candies, etc to leave at my house. I've got some left over from last year, but once that stash is gone, no more! When I want to snack on something, I'm going to have veggies and fruits instead! ...and if I REALLY want something "bad", I'd have to bake it!
