Watching this pageant made me really miss being in pageantry. I really enjoyed doing pageantry...even though I didn't do so well. LoL. I wish I could go back, but I'm so old now! >_<
Today I went to Neiman Marcus's The Preview Party. It was a fashion show party where they introduced the Fall 2011 trends.
Here's what's in for Fall 2011.
bordeaux: It's the color of the season. This deep mix of purple and red says "I'm sexy in style!"
colorblocking: Mix and match blocks of color! This fall isn't just about the boring brown hues.
fur: Although we don't have opportunities to wear statement-fur in Hawaii, subtle trims may work!
leather: Can you believe that there's such thing as LIGHT leather! Yup, it flows like a summer dress, yet it's leather!
shimmer: We're not talking about BLING, we're talking about SHIMMER. Soft shimmer is in this fall. Try sequins!
handheld bags: Literally HAND held bag. Ditch the straps and carry it like a clutch or just hold the top.
Fall 2011 Make/Nail Tip: Match them! It's all about bold lips and nails that match. Yup same colors on the lips and nails! Go for it!

The best model of the night is the girl below. Just kidding...but I had to take a photo on the runway...just because. LoL.
I also tried on the leather skirt that was in the show...$700+. I think I'll pass. LoL.
